What: Celebrate the Columbus Day Ceremony
Where: Columbus Memorial Park Tampa FL
When: 5pm / 1700hrs, Monday 13 October 2025
Why: Recognize the Achievements of the KofC Namesake
Sequence of Events:
4:30pm Recommended Arrival NLT 4:30pm. Nearby parking is very limited. Side road parking within ¼ mile exists. Rush hour is a factor, but it is a Federal
Holiday. Please plan accordingly - see schematic below and attached.
5pm Rosary at Columbus Memorial Park
5:20pm Ceremony with Keynote and Guest Speakers
5:45pm Laying of Wreath
6pm Ceremony Complete / Clean up
6:15pm Refreshments at Hattricks (pay as you go)
**4:00pm** Set up and Rehearsals – If you plan to participate with the Honor Guard, please arrive in time for scheduled rehearsals

Weather Decision:
Last year’s Ceremony was cancelled due to Hurricane Milton.
Rain – Ceremony will continue
Lightning – Delay or cancellation determined on site
Banners: Please bring your Council and or Assembly Banner, Staff and Base. (Note - banners sway in the wind)
Wreaths: Please let us know if you plan to bring and present a wreath.
Uniform: Honor Guard: 4th Degree Uniform with Swords
Event Cadre: 4th Degree Uniform
Knights: Assembly & Councils Polos
Disseminate: Please share the 2025 Flyers and Parking Schematic with Assemblies and Councils in the Tampa Region.
