Dear Brother Knights,
We are preparing for our St Luke Parish Picnic and are in need of volunteers to help with setup and activities. This is a great opportunity for us as Knights to serve our parish family with joy and fellowship.
We have been called to cook like we did for our 4th of July Celebration, and we have accepted as it is the least we can do, the parish will provide the food supplies for us all we need is to setup and grill the food.
Please wear your St Luke Knights of Columbus Shirts either the Blue T Shirts or the Beige Shirt. If you need one let us know.
Please consider signing up for one or more of the following tasks:
Friday, October 17 – Parish Hall
- 12:00pm – 2:00pm: Set up and decorate the Parish Hall (1 slot open)
- Put out supplies (2 slots open)
Saturday, October 18 – Parish Hall & Grounds
8:00am – 10:00am
- Set up tents (4 slots open)
- Set up grills (2 slots open)
- Set up coolers with ice (2 slots open)
- Set up picnic tables and chairs (2 slots open)
- Set up games (2 slots open)
- Light grills and start cooking (2 slots open)
- Set up chafing dishes with hot water (2 slots open)
- Set out lemonade and iced tea (2 slots open)
- Set out water stations (2 slots open)
- Other games/activities (1 slot open)
10:00am – 12:00pm
- Start putting out side dishes (2 slots open)
- Put out condiments (2 slots open)
- Help with games: Sack races, three-legged race, balloon toss, cornhole, photo booth, face painting, karaoke, duck pond, horse race, bingo (all need 2 volunteers each)
- Renovation video table (2 slots open)
- Restock food (2 slots open)
- Restock supplies (2 slots open)
- Cooking (3 slots open)
- Grilling hamburgers and hot dogs (slots open)
12:00pm – 2:00pm
- Games and activities (same as above: sack races, balloon toss, etc.) – all need volunteers

This is a wonderful chance to bring our Talent, Time and treasure. Our presence and support is very appreciated always. to the parish while helping ensure everyone has a joyful and well-organized event.
